Poor Zero!

So our 5 month old puppy came in the house limping last week and I, of course, freak out! The only suspects outside at the time of the "incident" were my daughter and my niece (both 3 yrs old) and they weren't admitting anything. So we took Zero to the vet and, after some xrays, found out he had a dislocated bone! They had to put him under and cast his leg. He came home with pain meds and looking like the pic above! We took the cone off after we knew he wouldn't chew the cast and now we just have to wait a couple weeks for the cast to be removed. Since he's a puppy he must still feel invincible because it hasn't slowed him down at all! Just don't tell him to sit, it takes him a few minutes to manuver the cast into position and then he just looks hilarious! I'll try to post a pic of that, everyone needs a good laugh!

Ila's pink polka dot room!

Well it's been 6 months since we moved into our new house and I finally have one room decorated! Ila wanted a pink room and has been into polka dots for awhile so I put the two together. I had my friend Laura over to help and we were done in a couple of days! We're all really happy with the way it turned out (all we had to go with was the idea in my head so it could have ended badly!) My next mission is to conquer Van's room, wish me luck!

Liv's 1st professional haircut!

As soon as it feels like spring, I feel the need for change. So all of us girls went to the salon for new do's. Ila was treated like royalty! They washed her hair and took about three inches off and added layers, then they blow-dryed it and curled it. She looked beautiful! Livie went in for a trim but then I got daring and told them to give her a bob. She was amazing! She let them wet her hair, cut it, blow-dry it and style it with a flat iron! Everyone was very impressed that an 18 month old sat still for so long! I had a few highlights put in my hair and had it trimed. We should be good until next year! lol
